About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to join us as Group Marketing and Campaigns Manager. You will support the Director of Marketing and Learner Recruitment in the delivery of the marketing strategy and action plan for the Group and to effectively lead and manage the marketing team members to ensure optimum performance.
This is an exciting time for the RNN Group and marketing and learner recruitment have a key role to play in working to support and deliver an increase in learner recruitment numbers across 16-18 years old, degree level students in our purpose-built University Centre Rotherham (UCR), adult learners and apprentices.
In a highly competitive market, we need to stand out to prospective learners, employers and other key influencers. The Group Marketing and Campaigns Manager will therefore need to demonstrate excellent planning and creativity skills as they will coordinate, manage and plan year-round recruitment campaign activity internally and externally, advertising, media relations and the coordinating and managing the development of on and offline marketing materials across multiple channels.

To be successful in this position you will need experience in planning and implementing marketing plans and campaigns, ideally within a senior marketing role along with experience of working with/in, the media or creative journalism. You will also have successful experience of managing and inspiring effective high-performing teams, ensuring that you support and empower them to contribute to the goals of the organisation.
Other essential qualities will include superb organisational, relationship building and writing skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead the marketing team to be proactive and show initiative and to ensure the provision of excellent customer service to colleagues, customers and stakeholders inside and outside the Group.
To accompany your extensive experience within marketing you will also possess industry relevant qualifications, such as Certificate in Marketing Diploma. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).

You will report to the Director of Marketing and Learner Recruitment, who has a strategic role on the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for marketing and recruitment strategy.
Your role is to support the Director of Marketing and Recruitment in the delivery of the Marketing Strategy and associated five-year action plan, operationally managing the marketing team and the year-round marketing recruitment campaign activity.
You will provide direct line management for the wider marketing team, consisting of Marketing Officer, Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer and Videographer.
