The salary stated above is the part time salary, the full time salary would be £45,791 to £50,855 per annum

Westminster School of Arts (WSA) are seeking a Lecturer in Fashion Business Management (with an emphasis on Fashion Marketing) to work at undergraduate level across both of our successful BA Fashion Business Management and BA Fashion Marketing & Promotion courses.

This post requires someone with specific expertise teaching in the area of fashion business and fashion marketing,with a good understanding of the intricacies of fashion branding. A strong awareness of the volatile nature of the fashion business environment and how this impacts commercial and creative strategic decision making is essential.You must have practical experience within a fashion business and marketing studio environment, with a professional and academic profile commensurate with the stage of your career.

It is essential to have experience in developing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning, with an extensive knowledge of fashion industry practice surrounding fashion business and marketing practices.Additionally, the ability to engage in current debates, and a familiarisation with standards and regulations towards awareness of diversity and ethical issues as they relate to management of fashion.

An important aspect of this role is responsibility for personal tutoring and the pastoral care of undergraduate students and the supervision of major projects,hence experience in this area is also essential.

You will be expected to be research active in the field of fashion alongside other scholarly activities to support your teaching and where the quality of the outputs can be recognised nationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to sustained continuous professional and academic development and nurture and maintain links with the fashion industry to strengthen teaching programmes, research, and associated activities.

A Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or PG Cert HE would be an advantage, and the successful candidate will be expected to achieve this status within their first year in the post if they have not already done so.
