The Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion (PPR) at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.3 FTE) Senior Teaching Associate in Environmental Politics. This is a 9-month post, to start 16th September 2024.

You will be expected to have completed (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Politics or a related field. You should have an excellent profile in higher education teaching appropriate to your career stage. You will be able to convene two established modules: PPR.296 Environmental Politics (undergraduate) and PPR.443 Global Environmental Politics (postgraduate).

The Senior Teaching Associate will be based in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion (PPR). We are a vibrant and diverse department based in Lancaster University’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. PPR was formed in 2010 by merging three subjects – Politics and International Relations, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. It’s the only department of its kind in the UK, and a great place to study and work. You will be supported in developing your teaching by mentoring within the Department.
