The Active Wellness Manager will play a leading role in our work with the Active Wellbeing team and further build on successful work within Warwick Sport. Other critical work will include building on the success of our Warwick Presents events programme, developing a specific exercise referral programme and aligning our student workforce recruitment and activity with the Warwick Award. The successful post holder will be tasked with developing an exercise referral offer for students and increasing the number of students being able to use our facilities and programmes to use movement to improve their physical and mental health.

About the Department  

Warwick Sport are proudly adapting our approach to put the student experience at the heart of our operation and to use movement and activity to support all students to reach their full potential. The first step on this journey has seen a new strategy for sport and physical wellness developed during the 2023/24 academic year.

A positive impact of this work is that the Active Wellbeing team is evolving and as a result we are looking for expressions of interest for this specialist role  within Warwick Sport. The changes are being made to support the potential growth within this area and to capitalise on the growing number of quick wins that are emerging to improve the experience of our students.
