This position is initially for a 30 month fixed term contract, employed by Teesside University but working at company partner premises day to day.
The appointed candidate will have access to a generous training budget tailored towards their personal development, access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading multidisciplinary academic research team from Teesside University.
The company partner, Scott Bros Ltd are a waste management company who are focussed on recycling 100% of their construction waste This includes through the creation of artificial soil which now requires a sensor platform to be developed which will enable intelligent soil carbon monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of the soil. The role is to work within a project team to utilise AI and IoT technologies with a view to creating a commercial Digital Remediation Service.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
