The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities.
We are looking to hire a Regular Giving Officer to join our department of Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO).
The post complements and enhances our alumni engagement activities whilst building and growing a strong foundation for regular philanthropic income to LSHTM priorities such as scholarships and student financial support. The Regular Giving Officer will develop and manage the regular giving programme by delivering engaging, persuasive appeals, communications and events to ensure alumni and friends have a range of opportunities to support our work.
We are a busy team and this role offers lots of opportunities to test new data-driven approaches, working closely with DARO colleagues as well as academic colleagues and interacting with our inspiring community of 35,000 alumni who embody our mission to bring about global health equity.
The successful candidate will be passionate about health equity and education with excellent customer service and attention to detail. You are likely to have experience in nearly all of the following areas: direct mail, telephone fundraising, digital fundraising, community events and legacy marketing as well as data segmentation, reporting and evaluation of fundraising performance.
You should be educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience of running fundraising appeals through a variety of mediums along with of using digital platforms to generate regular gifts. Further particulars are included in the job description.
The post is full time 35 hours per week 1 FTE and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £38,282 - £43,947 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
