The role
The School of Computer Science within the Faculty of Science & Engineering is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Cyber Security as a fixed-term position. The appointee will be expected to take an active role in providing high quality and innovative teaching in Software Security, Industrial Control Systems Security and IoT Security.
What will you be doing?
The School of Computer Science currently has a vacancy for a Lecturer in Cyber Security (fixed term - specifically in the areas of Systems Security, Foundations of Cyber Security and Secure Software Engineering) to carry out teaching to support our Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and CDT programmes, contributing to the activities of the Cyber Security group, in addition to being an active and effective citizen of the school and faculty.
The main purpose of the job is to carry out excellent and innovative Teaching. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of teaching responsibilities, including revising, planning and organising a unit within an established degree programme, and to excel in delivering an innovative and effective learning experience to students.
