The role
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully to high-quality and research-led teaching within the Department of History. They will have a track record of teaching history at undergraduate level and will take up the post on 1 September 2024.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will be actively engaged in scholarship in the history of modern China and will have experience of research-led teaching in this field. They will be expected to contribute to the provision of team-taught units reflecting this field of research, such as HIST20143 Asia in Global Perspective or HIST20116 Decolonisation.
The successful candidate will also be expected to supervise undergraduate dissertations, act as personal tutor, to undertake other teaching and administrative duties as appropriate, and to remain engaged in scholarship to support research-led teaching.
