The provision of an effective and efficient technical service in the laboratory and in the field, supporting research for academic and postdoctoral staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students principally in the Geomagnetism Laboratory. This support will be focused on the generation of measurements and datasets for the NERC Pushing the Frontiers Grant “Palaeomagnetic field behaviour in the Early Palaeozoic and the hunt for inner core birth”.
You should have a BTEC Higher Level (or equivalent).
This is a fixed term post for 24 months (currently until 30 April 2026).
