Senior Lecturer/Professor

We are seeking to appoint a senior academic with expertise in skeletal and/or connective tissue engineering to join a thriving and diverse team in the School of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sheffield (www.sheffield.ac.uk/dentalschool). Our ideal candidate will be a talented and enthusiastic team member ready to support the delivery of undergraduate teaching and postgraduate programmes and conduct internationally competitive research including high-quality PGR supervision. We may appoint at Professor or Senior Lecturer (SL) level depending upon experience.

The post-holder will also play a key role in delivering and enhancing our highly regarded undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, including our Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Dental Therapy and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) (https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/dentalschool/undergraduate/undergraduate-courses). We are particularly interested in candidates with research interests and experience in skeletal and connective tissue biology. You will contribute to the academic goals of the School and in particular the field of skeletal tissue engineering in research, teaching and learning, and scholarship.
