We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a highly motivated Personal Assistant for the Senior Academics in the Centre for Immuno-Oncology, at the Nuffield Department of Medicine.
In this role, you will be dealing with a wide range of matters on behalf of Professor Ignacio Melero and Professor Sarah Rowland-Jones, and an additional academic in the Centre for Immuno-Oncology.
You will have full responsibility for the organisation of busy diaries and the management of all internal and external visitors, providing high level Personal Assistant support. You will be responsible to organise efficiently the arrangements for meetings, including arranging appropriate catering for meetings held in the office and other venues as appropriate. You will provide full administrative support on financial matters: for example, the management of travel, subsistence and other expenses and allowances, invoices for subscriptions. You will be acting as the first point of contact for visitors. You will also be dealing effectively with postal correspondence, telephone calls and emails, diverting such correspondence to other staff where appropriate. You will be assisting with large events and other potential adhoc administrative duties, including dealing with collaborators and activities in Spain.
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to A level standard and will have experience of diary management in a similar role, including making complex travel arrangements. You will have excellent computer skills including: email, Word, Excel and the internet along with proficiency in typing with the ability to draft correspondence and to produce well-presented reports. You will also have the ability to manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload and work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy
