This position is full-time and open ended (permanent).
We have an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the running of the Shared Research Facilities (SRF). Working with the Head of Facilities and Technical Leads together with colleagues across MVLS including Principal Investigators, Finance, Research Management, Marketing and Communications, Innovation and Professional Services the post-holder will be responsible for managing the operational delivery of the SRF. Located across the Gilmorehill Campus in the West End of Glasgow the SRF have recently received substantial investment and play a key role in supporting cutting-edge research in life and health sciences in MVLS.
The post-holder will possess high levels of organisational and interpersonal skills, demonstrating initiative and flexibility to ensure that workloads are managed and prioritised and that targets and deadlines are met for the effective and efficient day-to-day running of the SRF.
The post-holder will also take a lead role in overseeing the financial administration of the SRF as well as coordinating strategic funding applications and supporting development of new opportunities through events, marketing and conferences.
