The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to provide senior project management support within the School of Health & Wellbeing. The postholder will contribute to project oversight, research governance, project risk management and data sharing across the School, as required.
Initially, the postholder will be responsible for managing the Population Health Research Facility which provides expert, tailored support to researchers working within community and NHS settings. This facility is currently based in the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit (SPHSU), which is in a period of transition. As such, a key challenge will be to ensure that projects maintain compliance with relevant research governance regulations and that ongoing commitments are met during this period of change.
The role will then increasingly focus on providing project management support in the wider School of Health & Wellbeing. The postholder will bring extensive skills and experience in research governance, data management, project management and leadership to help deliver strategic projects across the School.
