Alongside Academic tutors, Faculty Senior Tutors and year tutors (where applicable), you will provide support to students to ensure that they get the most out of their studies at the university.

The Faculty Student Advisor will be the first point of contact for students struggling with academic or personal issues or who have informal complaints. You will coordinate and maintain student support through initiatives like short appointments, drop-in sessions, online support, and follow-up. You will understand diversity and equality issues, have excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, will be able to prioritise and manage your own workload, plan and manage projects, have excellent attention to detail and take an analytical and systematic approach to work.
