Reporting to our Director of Students, you will support the operation and delivery of high-quality student casework managing all cases related to Student Discipline, Code of Conduct, Fitness to Study, Academic Appeals and Complaints. This role is critical in association with our preparations and application for Taught Degree Awarding Powers. This includes being a point of contact for the University, with respect to complaints which are submitted for review to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA). You will also provide specialist advice and support through staff development training sessions and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge and understanding within a HE setting or a similar environment, experience in student casework and knowledge of the OIA are essential.  You should have excellent IT skills, attention to detail and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively and confidently with colleagues at all levels in a creative and changing environment is vital. You will be expected to bring a positive and proactive attitude to your work and quickly establish yourself in the role and get up to speed with sector requirements and practices.
