We have an exciting opportunity in the Department Estates & Facilities Management for someone with a passion for live events management looking to use their skills in excellent customer service to make an impact on the delivery of our frontline services.
You’ll be working across our three principal venues, and will be responsible for the safety and security of the Octagon Centre, Drama Studio and Firth Hall venue facilities during public performances, ensuring that we comply with Public Licensing Laws, Health and Safety Legislation, and University of Sheffield Policies when open for events.
You will use your natural customer service flair to provide a wonderfully welcoming environment in our spaces, helping to support the Performance Venues team to ensure the reputation of the University in the delivery of some of our key events, student recreational activity and a variety of public performances. As this role requires a proactive management approach, clear thinking and excellent interpersonal attributes, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in event delivery.
