Are you passionate about supporting international students and ensuring they have the best student experience? If so, you could be the ideal candidate for our new role within International Student Support, Advice & Compliance (ISSAC).

The ISSAC team, made up of 11 staff within the Student Experience and Support section, supports our international students (of which there are c. 10,000) with visa and immigration enquiries and has a crucial role in coordinating work associated with complying to UKVI legislation.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing a fantastic service whilst ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and legislation, and who is interested in developing a broad set of skills and knowledge through handling a varied workload.

You will support the work of ISSAC and will be a key member of the team enabling us to deliver excellent service to our students. The role includes supporting the team through a range of duties and tasks, including administrative support and being an initial point of contact for student and staff enquiries.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in all areas of our section, implementing visa compliance processes and assisting students with a wide range of immigration related enquiries. You will have excellent attention to detail, communication skills, cultural awareness and sensitivity and use your own initiative to find appropriate solutions whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
