We are seeking a Group Director of Student Services to join The Bedford College Group. This pivotal role involves overseeing student engagement, inclusion, support, and well-being across the Group's institutions. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to maximise student retention, progression, and success. Applicants should have a strong leadership background, excellent communication skills, and a track record in enhancing student services. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to foster a safe and positive learning environment.

Thank you for your interest in the role of Group Director of Student Services at The Bedford College Group (TBCG). The group is the 7th largest further education college group in the sector by income and comprises 7 distinct colleges with 3 further educational colleges, 2 sixth form colleges and 1 national college for motorsport.

The successful candidate will be part of The Group’s senior leadership team and will provide a clear vision and strategies to improve the student experience working at pace.
To succeed in this role, you will come to us as an expert senior leader with a strong record of driving sustained improvements in Student Services including personal development, careers, enrichment, progression and student voice whilst providing excellent and highly ambitious leadership.
You will be coming to TBCG at an extremely exciting period of change, with our new CEO having commenced in January this year with a passionate commitment to, and vision of excellence that will take us forward in the next stage of TBCG’s evolution
