About the Role
Working closely with the Faculty’s Senior Research Managers, you will provide high level professional advice and support for the ongoing development and implementation of School research strategies, innovation activities and impact strategies. You will be responsible for the effective management of administrative services supporting research activities. There will be significant liaison with the Strategic Faculty Research Manager, the Director of Research and Heads of research groups/centres within the School on how best to undertake these activities. You will lead on the operational support and management of research funding in the School for Biological and Behavioural Sciences, including financial reporting and management of bids and proposals. You will work closely with colleagues in central Professional Services including the Research Services Directorate, VP Research and Innovation’s office, Marketing and Communications.

Do you have excellent analytical, financial management and communication skills? Do you enjoy developing knowledge of academic research areas and supporting academic staff to link these to national and international funding opportunities, to support research in the biological and behavioural sciences?
