Academic English Teacher in Vietnam

Job type: Full time, day time working hours

Remuneration

• Competitive monthly salary
• EMG will provide s sponsor letter for a proper visa, however, the employee is responsible for the cost of the visa.
• The work permit application fee will be paid by EMG. The employee must provide the required documents
• Transport to and from teaching locations provided by EMG
• Up to 23 paid holidays per year - 11 public holidays and 12 days annual leave
• Health & Social insurance according to the applicable Vietnamese law
• Free lunch is provided for all employees

Job Description

• Teach English to students in Primary/Lower Secondary/ High schools in HCMC
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans based on the curriculum plans provided.
• Actively participate in the production and sharing of learning resources with teaching colleagues working at EMG
• Monitor students progress and provide regular report regarding their participation and progress
• Create mufti-faceted lessons that engage students and develop their team working, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:

• Have Bachelor degree or higher
• Have an accredited CELTA/TESOL or TEFL certificate,
• Have a clear background check,
• Copy of passport,
• Updated CV,

Public holidays

There are eleven (11) Public Holidays observed in Vietnam:

• 1 day Calendar New Year Holiday – the 1^st of January
• 5 days Lunar New Year Holidays (Vietnamese New Year)
• 1 day on King Hung anniversary (the 10^th of March of each Lunar year)
• 1 Victory Day – the 30^th of April
• 1 International Labour Day – the 1^st of May
• 2 day on National Day (the 2^nd of September of the Gregorian calendar and the previous or next day).
