About the Role

As Communications Officer for Stewardship/Philanthropy, within Development and Alumni Engagement, you will join a growing team in supporting the delivery of a successful fundraising and engagement campaign – with room to stretch your creative muscles and bring new ideas.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering content in a range of formats to raise the visibility of philanthropy across the University community, inspiring a culture of giving that supports student success and fuels research and innovation.

You will create content to thank and steward donors to Warwick of all sizes, working closely with teams including Individual Giving, Volunteering and Donor Relations.

We believe that by sharing engaging stories of student success and the impact of philanthropy, we can build deeper relationships with our donors and encourage them to give their support, and retain said support, for years to come.

About You

You’ll be excited to build on your marketing and communications experience.

You’ll be passionate about creating new and engaging content for both digital and print channels and be clued up on the latest marketing trends.

You should have exceptional communication skills, as well as a positive, flexible attitude with a desire to learn.

You’ll have the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines.

You’ll understand how to build relationships across a large organisation, collaborating with colleagues across the wider University to grow alumni and supporter networks, and be comfortable liaising with and influencing a range of stakeholders including senior leaders.

You’ll also thrive on demonstrating our team behaviours every day:

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: We are ambitious to make a difference
