We have an exciting opportunity at the Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell (MLC) to join our Operations Team in the role of Events and Marketing Manager. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, and positive individual with a can-do attitude.
The Advance training centre has been purpose-built to deliver world-class practical and theoretical training courses. Containing two large meeting spaces, three breakout rooms, receptions and two training laboratories, this facility not only hosts courses taught by the Mary Lyon Centre but is available for hire to external users and also hosts high impact networking meetings. The typical footfall of the training centre is up to 100 people per week.
The post-holder will manage the day to day running of the Advance training centre to support the delivery of training courses, symposiums, networking and ensuring all available spaces are fully utilised.
