Programme Director (Clinical), Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

The University of East London is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Director to join our world-class team. As the Programme Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and lead our well-established Clinical Psychology Doctoral programme, one of the largest in the country. We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about education and eager to make a lasting impact on the field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the programme in collaboration with the Programme Director (Academic)
• Develop the strategic vision and set the direction of the programme
• Manage the clinical tutor team and act as line manager for trainee clinical psychologists
• Oversee the development and assessment of clinical skills
• Work closely with commissioners of training, senior clinicians, and service leads

Job Requirements:

• Qualification and substantial experience in Clinical Psychology
• Registered with the HCPC to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
• Previous senior management experience in the NHS and/or contribution to Clinical Psychology training programmes (desirable)
