Finance Analyst - FP&A

As a Financial Analyst at the University of East London, you will be instrumental in enhancing financial performance and facilitating the effective execution of important projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to determine key financial metrics and trends.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans and budgets.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Support the Finance team in ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in the Finance/Insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and effective approaches.
