About the role

The Learning & Teaching Librarian (Customer Services) will develop subject-specific information resources and support for learning and teaching in a designated School and or subject area. About you

We are looking for a qualified librarian who is open to and excited by working in a small but passionate team. You will have a broad range of duties that give you the opportunity to work across all aspects of an academic library with the initiative to introduce change and help us to continually improve the student experience.

You will have an interest in working both with staff and students, developing learning resources, supporting skills development, and building strong relationships across the university.

This post has a specific focus on improving and enhancing the experience of all of our patrons within both our physical and digital spaces, so we are looking for an individual who has knowledge and understanding of user experience, evaluation and enhancement.

If you feel that you could make a positive contribution within this opportunity, then we would love to hear from you! For an informal conversation please contact Lauren Cracknell (Associate Director Library & Learning Services) at l.cracknell@uos.ac.uk.
