The opportunity:
As a Lecturer in Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a variety of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You'll have the opportunity to develop research partnerships with colleagues at Hubei University and/or continue to carry out your own research working with colleagues at Manchester Metropolitan. Promoting the department, faculty and university by supporting a range of activities will be important too. You will be able to take part in knowledge transfer and business engagement opportunities, developing partnerships to share best practice or exploring the possibility of collaborations.

Commencing as soon as possible, this is a fixed-term post based in Manchester with two overseas assignments per year working at Hubei University, China. You'll be based at Hubei University's campus in Wuhan for a six-week delivery block, twice a year, typically, starting in September and February.
Appointment will be subject to necessary UK and China visa and work permit requirements. Support will be provided by the University in applying for visas and work permits.
