About this role

This is a developmental role for a Speech and Language Therapist to work with our dynamic school to create a new Speech and Language apprenticeship course to begin in academic year 2025/2026.   This role will be supported by a curriculum coach (HCPC registered) and placement lecturer.  Through this supported approach the apprenticeship curriculum will be developed and taken through a successful accreditation, working closely with and developing relationships with employer partners. There will then be the opportunity to become the Programme Leader on successful accreditation and recruitment for the course. The appointed post holder will have knowledge, experience and skills within the field of Speech and Language Therapy and ideally experience of practice education.  You will share your expert professional knowledge to a broader audience thus ensuring a curriculum which is contemporary and prepares all learners to engage in any aspect of Speech and Language Therapy.

Local employers are in support of this apprenticeship development, therefore we would consider a secondment opportunity. Please liaise with your professional lead to confirm before applying.

We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers.
