Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

Full-time (37 hours per week)

Do you have a background in company secretarial or business administration?

We wish to welcome a full time Interim GLS Assistant who is diligent, self-motivated and a fast learner.

The Opportunity

In this dynamic role, you will work with the University Solicitor and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the Governing Body. The work requires a high degree of discretion and confidentiality. You will liaise effectively with a range of senior stakeholders and be responsible for organising board level meetings, collating board packs and co-ordinating follow up actions. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your skill set further. You will join a small, collaborative friendly team, supporting personal development.

We want to hear from professionals with experience in a similar role who will be able to hit the ground running. You will have a proactive approach and technical knowledge commensurate to your level of experience.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge and proven experience of corporate governance/ business administration.
  • Significant experience in a busy office with the ability to independently manage and meet conflicting deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail, excellent communication/ interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, motivation to learn.
