This hybrid post is an exciting and unique opportunity in the Women’s Health Research Group that will involve overseeing the data management underpinning our programme of research, the broader aspects of which cover novel biomarker discovery across a range of cancers for one of our US-based commercial partners (TriStar). The role will involve collecting, checking, harmonising and maintaining all follow up and molecular data for histopathology archival specimens collected at Leeds and other international centres.
The post is embedded in a broader TriStar-funded programme of work building on the team’s existing expertise in cancer biology, biomarker identification digital pathology,. The appointee will have the opportunity to participate in this wider programme of work focussed on histopathology sample and cancer type-specific subprojects performed in partnership with other global collaborators identified by TriStar.
