The Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in Linux systems administration to join an IT team, develop your skills and be supported to progress your career, whilst working from a beautiful, vibrant, and modern campus.

Working in the Infrastructure Section of the Easter Bush campus Information Services (IS) team, the role will focus on developing solutions and providing support for the research computing needs of staff, students, and visitors on a busy campus. You will work alongside experts in high-performance computing, and utilise modern IT services to help support our research community to deliver against our colleges One Health research strategy

Experience with the use of automated installation tools, configuration management utilities, and administering open-source web server and databases is essential. You should also be accustomed to designing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure.
