Bury College are welcoming applications for the exciting new role of Inclusion & Engagement Officer, term time only. Joining the College as an Inclusion & Engagement Officer you will help to promote positive behaviours throughout the College. This includes reinforcing the expectations of appropriate behaviours by engaging with individuals and groups of students. Working closely with the Pastoral, Safeguarding and ALS team you will support to identify individual students that would benefit from targeted interventions.
Candidates will have a good general standard of education, along with SEN/Behaviour Management and Adverse Childhood experience. Recent knowledge of working with disengaged young people and of developing enrichment activities to engage and develop young people is essential. Candidates must have an understanding of the underpinning reasons of challenging behaviours, an ability to diffuse conflict and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
