ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an international business professional, currently working in a multi-national enterprise, and looking to transition to an academic role? We are offering 2-year fixed term ‘practitioner’ posts for practitioners that have substantial experience in delivering training (or previous teaching experience in academia). You will use your experience and contemporary industry knowledge to complement the delivery of lectures, seminars and workshops within our academic team. The role is particularly suitable for a professional in a senior role that is transitioning towards retirement. We are open to explore 0.5 fractional contracts to support this process. Please note that with the focus on bringing in contemporary practice, it is unlikely this role will be extended beyond the 2-years advertised.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role holder will contribute to delivering the Faculty’s strategic priorities, which include the integration of excellent teaching and contemporary practice. The role holder, with appropriate support, resources and guidance, will be responsible for the development, organisation and delivery of curriculum content of undergraduate and postgraduate International Business Management programmes. The role holder will also contribute to ensuring that the curriculum reflects the latest developments within practice.

The role holder will contribute to modules on the BSc International Business Management and the MSc International Business Management. Most modules are team taught, and colleagues are expected to work in collaboration with other developing and delivering modules. There is also opportunity to contribute to our distance-learning modules and guest lecture on our partner campuses.
