Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health) provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching and for professional and support staff. We work together to answer some of the most important questions about the causes, prevention and treatment of disease.
We are seeking a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher to engage in research to further your expertise and growing research profile to achieve international recognition in your discipline. You will develop and conduct projects to better understand the causes and consequences of human trait variation, using genetics theory, computer simulation studies and analysis of data from large biobanks.
To be considered, you must hold a relevant PhD/Dphil in a relevant field e.g., statistical genetics, quantitative genetics, bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, econometrics or other relevant areas, have evidence of post-qualification research experience, an established (inter)national reputation and publication record, as well as demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) for 3 years.
