Situated in the heart of the City of London, adjacent to the Barbican Centre, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama produces 12 fully staged operas and dramas each year to fully professional standards. We need an experienced Lecturer/practitioner in the field of Stage Technology to join the Production Arts Department in delivering our BA (Hons) in Production Arts.
The post holder will be responsible for teaching Technical Management and Stage Technology (rigging, flying, automation etc.) and will have significant experience in professional theatre/live performance along with previous relevant teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification.
Essentially, they will demonstrate an ability to work with and inspire young people.
