The National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU) is an internationally recognised, multi-disciplinary research unit based within the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) at the University of Oxford, Old Road Campus in Headington, Oxford. The unit undertakes research about pregnancy, childbirth and new-born babies.
We are seeking a Health Services Researcher and Epidemiologist who will contribute to projects conducted within the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit. This will include managing your own academic research and administrative activities, project management, assisting with study designs and development of study protocols.
To be considered for this position, you will hold an MSc in statistics or epidemiology or a health-related field which includes a substantial amount of biomedical statistics. You will have substantial experience in health services research and epidemiology, managing large and complex datasets. You will also be proficient in statistical software including STATA or R.
The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for 2 years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is noon on 15/07/2024.
