We have embarked on an ambitious programme of work reviewing our student-focused processes and developing our student record system to meet the needs of our students, staff and key stakeholders, as we continue our ambitions for the future. We are looking for additional External Returns Officer (s) to work within our Student Records team to support our creation and development of our returns. Your main responsibilities will be to compile and assure our external data returns to both HESA and the OfS as well as other mandatory regulatory returns we are required to make. You will also provide support and input into current and new processes to ensure that they are developed and operate to meet new and emerging data requirements including effective mechanisms for managing and maintaining effective data quality.
You will already have sound experience and understanding of the higher education statutory reporting environment, especially for HESA returns. You will also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of higher education processes and systems that underpin statutory reporting, combined with an awareness of how changes within the higher education sector may impact on them.
