Manchester Metropolitan University is currently recruiting an International Recruitment Manager to join its International Recruitment and Conversion team.
The International Office is responsible for the recruitment and support of international students, overseas partnership development and student mobility programmes, driving the internationalisation of the University and ensuring that Manchester Metropolitan University retains and enhances its global profile.
The focus of this role will be international student recruitment, and you will use innovative approaches to secure sustainable streams of students and business. You will also be responsible for supporting the account management of one or more Faculties at Manchester Met, actively supporting the development of their strategy. The post will involve extensive overseas travel.
You will have experience of international education and student recruitment, ideally in a UK Higher Education context. You will have a track record of success, developing marketing or sales plans and meeting or exceeding targets. Experience of communicating and working with people from other backgrounds and cultures is also essential. In addition to relevant experience, you will need to demonstrate the ability to think strategically, negotiate, find and implement novel solutions, and communicate your ideas with sensitivity and diplomacy. Experience of having studied, worked or lived overseas will be an advantage.
