Applications are invited for the temporary post of **Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Psychology **within the School of Psychology .
UCD is a research-intensive university that is at the forefront of research and teaching activities across a wide range of disciplines. The UCD School of Psychology has identified the following strategic research themes:
We invite applications from individuals with research related to any of the School’s research themes, and experience teaching at undergraduate level. For the coming academic year we will have teaching needs in areas including social, health and applied psychology at undergraduate level, and research methods and statistics, also at undergraduate level.
In addition, this process will be used to create a panel from which subsequent appointments made be made in the next six months.
Applicants must have a PhD or Doctorate in psychology, as well as teaching, supervision, and research experience relevant to the areas indicated above. The School is committed to research-led education, so the candidate will be expected to conduct research that supports high quality teaching in their field, and to lead innovations in both research and teaching directions. Successful applicants will contribute to the School’s undergraduate and graduate programmes, and to research activity within the School.
Note: Interviews are expected to take place between 22 and 24th July 2024.
