The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We have just launched a pilot for a four-day working week and later this year we will be moving to a new, modern campus building adjacent to our current location offering a bright and spacious learning and working environment.

Our Student Administration department oversees essential functions related to Records and Programme Administration, Timetabling, Graduation, and Quality. The work of the department is integral to the entire student journey, spanning from enrolment to graduation, significantly contributing to the overall student experience and success.

You will join the team that spearheads the online and onsite enrolment processes for both new and returning students, both International and Home. Moreover, our team handles the documentation processing and storage of Appendix D for international students. We efficiently manage study mode changes, including transfers, withdrawals, progressions, awards, and module repeats, always prioritising clear communication and streamlined processes.

In this role, you will supervise a team of Student Administration Officers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that the Records Administration function runs smoothly; specifically ensuring a seamless and informative experience. If you are passionate about ensuring smooth operations and leading a team then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a similar role in service/student support role in higher education. You will have proven experience of managing and supervising a team and be an excellent communicator with solid team working skills. A can-do attitude is a must and you will enjoy working in a fast-paced customer focussed environment. It’s also important that you are competent in a variety of Microsoft packages, especially in Excel and be skilled in compatibility statistical information.
