About the Role 

These positions of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor will be a teaching and research academic within the Department of Aviation in the School of Engineering

The Department has  a track record of over 30 years in offering high-quality teaching and research in flight training, safety, human factors, and aviation management.  We are seeking to appoint two academic staff members in one of the following areas: aviation safety, aviation human factors, flight operations, aeronautical engineering, or unmanned aerial system (UAS).

The appointee will undertake teaching, research, course management and curriculum development in their discipline or a related area. The role would also assume administrative tasks associated with normal teaching duties, and contribute to other relevant professional activities in the Department.  The position is expected to mentor and support students on academic matters, and supervise undergraduate, Masters and PhD students.
