Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Location: Flexible, with minimum two days a week on campus in Maclaurin Building, Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

An exciting opportunity to join the University of Hertfordshire’s Marketing and Communications department and take the lead to deliver degree apprenticeships marketing. We are looking for an ambitious, proactive marketing professional, who is passionate about developing campaigns from concept to implementation, to deliver outstanding results.

Main duties and responsibilities

Working with the Corporate Brand and Campaigns Manager, the postholder will plan and deliver dedicated degree apprenticeship campaigns that engage our target audiences to build positive brand awareness and generate leads, in line with the University’s objectives. 

The postholder will work closely with our degree apprenticeships team and academic programme leaders to create unique selling points for our apprenticeship provision, creating compelling content for a range of channels.

You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the University’s media agency to deliver paid for apprenticeship campaign activity, guided by the Corporate Brand and Campaigns Manager, by working collaboratively with other Marketing and Communications teams. 

Skills and experience required

We are looking for a candidate with higher education marketing experience to deliver degree apprenticeship marketing. The postholder will have proven experience of delivering effective paid and organic campaigns across a wide range of channels, working with a media agency to refine and optimize campaign activity. You must be data driven, have experience using reporting tools and presenting data to stakeholders. 

Qualifications required

Educated with a minimum of Degree level or equivalent experience.
