Are you a clinical practitioner wanting to develop your education pillar of practice? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer/s in the Radiography team at the University of Salford.

We are seeking to appoint a lecturer in Radiography for a 12month period. We are looking for motivated, creative and ambitious individual/s building on our strengths to meet the demands of a changing health and social care landscape. You must be an excellent team player who is willing to work on a variety of activities and tasks within the department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career within an innovative, progressive and supportive environment with a range of opportunities available for development.

Please note this is a 12 month part time role that can be offered as a secondment basis if required.

This role will commence in August 2024 and Interviews are scheduled to take place on w/c 8th July 2024

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint clinical practitioner/s who wish to develop their expertise in radiography education. The role is open to current radiography academics also who may wish a change in role. The post-holder’s principal role will be to deliver theoretical and practical aspects of the Radiography programme.

  • Design teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within a subject area
  • Contribute to the planning, design and development of course and curriculum objectives and material.
  • Mark and assess coursework and examinations and provide feedback to students as part of modular teams
  • Act as a personal tutor to a group of students
