Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Community & Primary Health Care / Nursing / Mental Health (several posts) (Ref. 240603006)
Duties: (a) teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise student projects and theses; (b) conduct research that leads to publications in refereed journals and award of research grants; (c) engage in applied research, creative development and consultancy projects in relation to health care related activities; (d) contribute to the development of the School’s relevant research theme and participate in its activities; (e) contribute to departmental activities and management; and (f) render professional service to the community and support activities that promote or foster links with the profession in the industry and/or in the community.
Qualifications: (a) a PhD degree in Nursing or a relevant discipline with substantial years of relevant experience; (b) professional qualifications registrable with The Nursing Council of Hong Kong; (c) a substantial record and reputation as an accomplished teacher with significant contribution to curriculum development / review or teaching and learning processes; (d) an established track record in research and scholarship, including refereed publications, external grants and postgraduate supervision; and (e) demonstrated academic management and leadership capabilities.
Applicants for appointment at Professor level should demonstrate a strong background in research with an international academic profile and excellent international reputation in research and possess an excellent record of academic leadership and research scholarship (publications and funded research).

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointments for Assistant Professor will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. An appropriate term will be provided for appointment at Associate Professor and Professor levels.
