The School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work is a school of social scientists who want to make a difference to the world. We want to enhance social justice nationally and internationally. Making a social difference to us means working with local communities to improve lives. It means doing research that has a real-world impact. It also means preparing critical citizens and strong professionals, who in turn can strengthen communities and professions. It means engaging with stakeholders, with policymakers, with voluntary organisations and with government agencies.
The School has five disciplines: Criminology, Education, Sociology, Social Policy and Social Work. Teaching in these disciplines across both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses. We have a healthy doctoral community across all disciplines.
The School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching Sociology and Quantitative Methods.
