About the role
Posts are available for enthusiastic analytical chemists able to operate independently and within a team of applied geochemists. The posts are open to but not limited to recent graduates with opportunity for ongoing learning and skills development.
The candidate will operate a selection of analytical instrumentation within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory to support research on applied environmental chemistry projects in the UK and internationally.
The candidate may be required to develop new analytical methodologies for deployment in a laboratory or field environment. Opportunities may arise for UK and/or International fieldwork.
About you
You will have a first degree in Chemistry and a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or a related subject would be highly desirable.
Although this role is at a junior level and so will be largely directed, we do expect candidates to be able to make informed choices to work safely in the laboratories and ensure activities are being conducted to support our ISO accreditation.
