The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint two temporary, full-time (1.0FTE) Teaching Associates, for the period 2nd Sep 2024 to 30th Jun 2025.
These positions provide an opportunity to gain teaching experience in a dynamic, innovative research led Department. These roles will be teaching focused, contributing to our undergraduate degree programmes in psychology, with time for scholarship around pedagogy and teaching delivery.
About you
You:
Advanced level data analytic skills using R Open Source software would also be desirable, to assist in some first and second year delivery, student drop-in classes, and third-year dissertation analysis support.

The Psychology Department is a dynamic teaching and research active Department. It is home to a friendly group of around 40 Academic staff, with teams of Research, Professional Services and Technical staff. The Department supports a large cohort of Undergraduate students on BPS accredited degrees; a thriving group of Masters and Postgraduate research students; and a wide range of research projects including several cross-institution grants and research centres.
The Department actively supports open science initiatives, including the development of good research practices, regular meetings of our Open Science group, and the embedding of research integrity within our teaching curriculum and postgraduate training.
