Applications are invited for 2 full time permanent posts as Established Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Galway.
Candidates with Specialisms in Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice or Pharmaceutics are welcome and individual’s specialisms of the successful appointee will inform the post title at appointment stage.
We seek to appoint progressive and highly committed academic pharmacists, who combine strong academic and research credentials, with a record of accomplishment of educational innovation, influencing and strategic leadership. The roles will require candidates who combines a strong track record in pharmacy education, research, and clinical practice. The successful candidates will lead the founding team of the new discipline of Pharmacy, the development of the new MPharm programme, and a strong research programme at the University.

Salary:
€137,308– €173,590 (applicable to new entrants effective from January 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Established Professor scale in line with current Government pay policy)
