The University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint two Partnership and Innovation Managers to join the Research, Partnerships & Innovation Directorate. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help deliver the University of Liverpool's research and impact ambitions through a diverse range of partnership development activities to help grow collaboration and co-creation with non-HEI external partners. The role will focus on supporting the partnership development aspirations of the University, with a focus on local, regional, national and international partnership development, across the University research strengths.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the University has a pipeline of collaborative partnerships to help realise research impact, and to help identify, prioritise and grow relationships which have the potential to become strategic partners. The role is varied, from involvement with internal funding schemes through to project managing major funding bids which are co-created with external partners.
You will be expected to work independently with senior academics and external partners to advise on policy drivers and links across the institution and beyond, to create and strengthen networks that realise impact and increase activity through additional translational research income. You will need to have a knowledge of collaborative mechanisms to accelerate partnerships working (consultancy, KTP, contract R&D, PhD studentships, CPD, and licensing of IP) and a successful track record in generating activity and income using these mechanisms.

Degree (or equivalent professional qualification or relevant professional experience) is required for this role.
