The Department of Archaeology at the University of Aberdeen wish to appoint 0.8 FTE Teaching Fellow in Archaeology for a period of 6-months to provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching cover for a faculty member on research leave. In addition to the delivery and coordination of courses, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute as a co-supervisor on undergraduate and MSc student projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills that can inspire students, colleagues and members of the public should also be demonstrated. Candidates with an ability to teach Viking- and or early Medieval archaeology of northern Europe; and/or Indigenous, public and community archaeology; and/or archaeological theory would be particularly encouraged to apply.
