Oxford Brookes University is looking for a highly motivated laboratory manager to co-ordinate the technical staff in preparing undergraduate practicals. This role also supports the research activity within the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the smooth day-to-day running of a busy set of teaching and research laboratories. You will be working alongside a friendly team of highly skilled dedicated laboratory technicians, ensuring that the laboratories are maintained as a safe, clean and professional environment at all times. You will be responsible for delivering health and safety inductions to staff and students. You will also be responsible for procuring and maintaining a wide range of equipment.
The ideal candidate is well organised, has a hands on approach to laboratory tasks, thrives working as part of a team, and has great communication skills.
